We're finally empty nesters

After 31 years of marriage and 27 years (and counting) of parenthood we are finally empty nesters. I'm still not sure exactly what that means but I think we are suppose to start enjoying our life again and not having our lives run by the children. We have 2 children: Nicholas 27 a Navy Petty Officer stationed in Sicily with his lovely wife Rebecca and our grandcats Tank & Boo. Heather 23 ,working for a PR company living in Bloomington IN with her wonderful fiance Matt and our granddog Bling . Heather and Matt are making us REAL grandparents for Christmas ! We can't wait until she arrives and we can SPOIL her rotten (sorry Matt! ).

We have 2 dogs that have become our children Miss Kitty and Cocoa and a FAT cat Tillie (really Heather's cat but she seemed to stay here when Heather left)

Since both children started a blog I thought I would try it also!
